3 Content Strategies Before the AI Window Closes (520)
AI

In this episode, Joe explores what happens after the "three-year window" closes — when AI begins to produce nearly everything on demand. What does that mean for creators and entrepreneurs? Joe shares three essential moves to stay relevant and build lasting value in the coming Age of Abundance.

Key Points:

1. Build a Small Tribe with Purpose
Forget chasing scale. The next era belongs to creators who build small, mission-driven communities rooted in shared values and purpose. Machines can copy your voice, but not your meaning.

2. Turn Your Process into the Product
When content becomes infinite, your process becomes the value. Show how you work. Let your audience inside. Sell access to your system, not just your outcomes.

3. Name Your Focus
In the Age of Abundance, clarity wins. Choose one word that defines what you stand for — and repeat it everywhere. If you don't define your focus, the algorithm will do it for you (and probably get it wrong).

Takeaways:

  • Abundance shifts value from creation to connection.

  • Meaning, trust, and shared experience will become priceless.

  • The future belongs to creators who build direct relationships and stand for something clear.

Quote of the Episode:
"When everything is abundant, trust becomes priceless."

[00:00:00] We have around three years or less before AI changes everything about how we create and connect with people. But let's look past that for just one second. What happens after the window closes? We may be entering what some will call the age of abundance, A world where machines can produce almost anything at any time.

And when everything becomes abundant, well, it becomes scarce. Meaning connection, trust, personal relationships, and that's where the opportunity is for creators. And there are three moves that I believe you can make right now to prepare for this. Number one, build a small tribe with purpose. Stop chasing scale.

The era of mass content might be over for good. Instead, build a small mission-driven community that shares your values. People who care about the same things you do. Invite them into the process. Ask for their stories, their input, their help in shaping what you build. Now, machines can absolutely mimic your words, [00:01:00] but I don't think they can replicate shared purpose.

Focus on belonging, not reach. Number two, turn your process into the product. When content is infinite, your process becomes the value.

Show people how you work. Pull back the curtain a little bit. Share the thinking, the experiments, even the failures. Jay Clouse does this with Creator Science. His transparency is his brand. Ann Handley does this through her writing. She teaches not just what to do, but how it feels to do it. Your process may be your moat.

Teach it, stream it. Maybe even sell access to it. When output is cheap, process becomes the premium. And number three, probably my favorite is name your focus. In a noisy world, clarity wins. The best creators are known for one thing. James Clear is known for habits, Ann Handley is known for writing. Jay Clouse is known for trust.

For me, I think it's [00:02:00] probably ownership. That's what my work has always been about, owning the data so you can have relationships with an audience, and that will lead to a solid business model and ultimately freedom. Now, if you don't choose your focus, the algorithm will probably choose it for you, and it'll probably get it wrong.

So pick one word or phrase that defines your work. Say it often and build everything else around it.

Before I close if you're watching on YouTube. I super appreciate it. If you don't mind liking this video and then subscribing to the channel. This is where our growth is right now and before the machines absolutely take over completely. This is where our discovery is at and leads to the audio. So thank you so much.

So in closing. Ask yourself, number one, what's the deeper purpose behind what I create? Number two, how can I make my process part of the product? And number three, what one word defines my focus? The age of [00:03:00] abundance is coming really fast, and in that world, success won't come from creating more stuff.

It'll come from creating more meaning. The window is absolutely still open, but I don't believe it's open for very long. What do you think? Thanks for listening. Go build something.
